Moriphone was established in 1987 by Youssef Moris Eskandar.
The company produced a large collection of Arabic songs for many Arab music stars such as Warda Al Jazairia, Talal Maddah, Samira Said, Latifa, Siham Ibrahim, and many others.
The entire catalogue of Morifone was acquired by Mazzika Group in 2007.
